Sorry it took so long Mom, I had to clean first.

Here are some pics of our livingroom.
We still need to buy some "plastic plants" as caleb calls them. And a couple lamps.
We also have a huge mirror that needs to be hung over the bare wall above the loveseat.
I see Joey!
Oh and i need to get some more pictures made to go in the frames on the screen. :)

Revenge of the Slug

So our front yard was infested with snails. Infested? you say. Yes. INFESTED. I'm talkin' twenty snails in front of my door EVERY morning. at first I was like, whatever. But soon enough I started seeing little baby snails. So I put an end to all this Snaily reproduction and bought some "Ned's Slug and Snail Death". This stuff works so well. It is a grainy powder that actually attracts the snails and then when they eat it, it somehow disintegrates there little slimy bodies leaving only the shell.
So now I have this little snail grave yard going on cause I just leave the shells near the bait to serve as a reminder to the other snails. (kidding, I am just too grossed out to pick them up)
N E Way tonight Caleb and I came home from church and I was talking to my mom on the phone. Now, I have already changed out of my church clothes which means I am running around barefoot. So I go out to the back to feed the dog when I realized I stepped on something really slimy and gooey! It was a disgusting, nasty, abominable, awful, beastly, cloying, creepy, detestable, distasteful, foul, frightful, ghastly, gross*, gruesome, hateful, hideous, horrid, horrific, icky*, loathsome, lousy, macabre, monstrous, nasty, nauseating, nerdy*, noisome, objectionable, obnoxious, odious, offensive, outrageous, repellent, repugnant, repulsive, revolting, rotten, satiating, scandalous, scuzzy*, shameless, shocking, skank, sleazeball*, sleazy*, stinking, surfeiting, vile, vulgar, yecchy*, yucky*, SLUG. AHHH. I totally started screaming and gaging. LOL my mom just waited for it all to stop and continued talking like nothing happened.(apparently this kind of stuff happens too often) So the moral of the story is: if your front yard is infested with snails, just leave them alone otherwise you may one day step on a slug.

Warning against energy drinks!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently some study, somewhere, has shown that consuming too much red bull leads to premature ageing, slight retardation, and I guess somehow your hair follicles shrink. That's the only way I can explain the short hair.
Too bad no one told me about this before it was too late.
Don't let this happen to your loved ones, pass this on to one million people in the next second and tomorrow your greatest wish will come true.

Speech! Speech! Speech!

Well I made it though another one of my speeches for, can you guess, Speech Class! This one made me so nervous and I have no idea why. I mean, I usually get nervous during my speeches, but this time I was literally biting my nails. My stomach hurt, I was anxious, all kinds of weird stuff (kinda like when I got married, j/k, I was jumping up and down in the fourier, 4-yer?). But yea, I made it through though (say that five times fast). Hopefully I got a high score. I am trying my best to get straight A's this semester, but it is a lot more work than I anticipated. :)

So last Friday we had our first youth service at Eisenhower High School. Isn't that amazingly awesome! Ahhh! it was SO good. I would have never thought I would be in a CHURCH! service at the school I graduated from. We had a really good outcome, I think someone said that 84ish people showed up. Although not too many of them were non-ILC members. None the less God was there in a mighty way. I just cant get over it. People were speaking in tongues and the word of God was preached in a public school cafeteria! Here are some pics. there will be more posted at www.inlandlighthouse.com (that is, as soon as I email them)

Caleb doing what he does best. Acting silly!

Randomness-ess-ness

Helloooooooo everybody! So I just got home from a late night shopping extravaganza. OK not really, I just went to Target, with Jaleah. But we had fun! Caleb and I have been shopping non-stop for furniture and little accent pieces to put in our family room. At first the whole "getting the house together" idea was fun, now it is monotonous. One weird thing I have found out is a lot of furniture stores are going out of business. By out of business I mean REALLY going out of business (some stores just say that so you walk in an buy stuff, we know of a store that has been "going out of business" for a year and a half) For those of us who live in the Inland Empire Toms Farm on E st. in San Bernardino has really nice furniture and reasonable prices. (cue the commercial music) "So get on over to Toms Farm! Where were not crazy but our prices are!"
Anyway, yeah, I am pretty much done shopping for the house. Now I need to start buying decorations for papa's 75th B-day party. Whoot, a new reason to spend money!
I am still working out at World Gym. I don't know about the whole working out thing though. I mean, as soon as I get to where I can almost do three reps of rotational bicep lifts, Melissa (trainer) Ups my weights, so there is really never a feeling of total gratification.
Caleb is doing well. He is back on his golf kick. Which is cool as long as I get a new outfit every time he leaves me to spend five hours in the hot sun with one to three other guys. I just don't get it, what is fun about standing around, quietly, watching someone else hit a ball. Whatever. As the saying goes:
Life is random.

(kidding I just made that up)
Whoot now I have a famous quote!

Where's Hailey?

So far today I have done pretty much nothing. I went to school at 8. Came home and played with Hailey. Caleb has the day off today so that is cool. We will prob just hang around the house all day. Maybe I will go swimming not sure. =) I know I have to do my math homework for tomorrow, but that can wait.

Where's Auntie and Hailey?
There they are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe she will go to sleep.
p.s. She didn't. she was and realized that, so she jumped up and tried her best to fight it off.

A random day

So my morning started of several times today. I woke up once when my BF called me at 7:30AM. She wanted to know if I was going to workout. I told her no and went back to sleep. Then Andy got in the shower around10ish and that woke me up. So I laid in bed wondering if I should go back to sleep one more time, but decided to just get up.
Caleb had gone to work early this morning and when he came home he told me he was no longer kissing me goodbye in the mornings cause apparently I tried (or did) to punch him in the face today when he kissed my forehead. Sad huh. Changing the subject. God is so good. Today, Caleb and I finally bought a new couch and love seat set. Brown leather. The pic is below. Nice. We also went to my sis Tiffany's house to celebrate labor day. we had a really good time. Just the family hangin' out at the pool, relaxing, and making fun of each other. =)
