Sometimes life doesn't give you what you want when you want it. Sometimes you get more than you ask for. Either way, we are told to be content with what we have, cause somewhere in the world there is a person who would love to be in our shoes. But once that person got into our shoes would they want to stay in them? or would they realize that they were better off wearing their own?
I am not sure that I would trade footwear with anyone, but it would be nice if somethings in life would just come easy.

If a baby bird is released from its shell without the fight, it doesn't have the strength to live. If a rosebud is forced open, it falls apart. So is life, if we don't have the battles, we do not become seasoned warriors. So, ... hold on, this too shall pass.

If you envy somebody's life, you don't know them very well. Things are not always as they seem. Time reveals a lot, and you'll probably find that the other person's life wasn't all that easy to begin with.
EVERY person has issues, problems, difficulties, and stinky days. If you look at their life and see ease, there's a lot you don't know about them! True, their issues may be different than yours, but they envy somebody else's life.
My suggestion- CHANGE the things in your life that you CAN change. Those that you CAN'T change, change your attitude towards them. You'll be amazed at what you can overcome in life with a positive attitude. If you DECIDE to have a positive attitude, your emotions will eventually follow.
