One of the greatest secrets of life is having both patience & wisdom...
The pic makes a great statement, but I don't think the person who started this is telling the whole story. Yeah the dog has patience and wisdom not to pounce the skunk, but I don't think the skunk even knows the dog is there. Which means, when the skunk did realize that a great big hound dog has been sitting in wait, the skunk probably freaked and sprayed the dog anyway. Thus leaving the dog with no food and smelly.
My moral of the story: when dealing with a skunk, strike before he eats all your food, because really, he is going to spray you anyway. At least you will still have dinner.
