I am probably the last one to know this, but I just found some of Ryan and Kelly's wedding pics on their photographer's website. Oh my goodness! they came out so so so gorgeous. Here's a link if you are also apart of the "last to know" club.

Probably the last to know
The Diva

This is my niece Brooklyn. She's a Diva. These pictures were sent to me by her Mom. The story is, Brooklyn has a flu and was being so "Mariah Carey". When she was hungry she would not ask for food, she would yell "Food, Food, I need food." Once she got her food and her parents walked away she yelled, " Drink, Drink, where's my drink." She comes by it naturally.

I should be leaving for work, but..
So, the bean dip was an isolated incident. Caleb is the one who is actually getting the weird cravings for stuff. Last week he was asking for Tuna casserole with cheese its on top. (I guess his Mom made it years ago? until now I have never heard of it) Sunday he wanted to eat those little hot peppers out of kung pao chicken. In these few weeks I have been telling him that he is the one getting all the cravings for stuff. Sunday was the first time he ever admitted it.

Stuff
1. I have not re-addedededed my blog link thingy because I don't really like my background and I know I am going to change it again pretty soon.
2. Whoot is driving us crazy and we are going to get another dog. I found a puppy that looks just like Whoot did, but the "adoption" price is way too much.
3. I made my bed before I went to work this morning. Yay me!
4. I didn't go to work yesterday because I have been fighting a cold. It was a good thing I didn't go because one of our kids had the biggest melt down ever. I guess he really gave the teacher the what for (I don't know where that phrase came from) and threw bottles of tempera paint at her. When the paint was gone he threw a tissue box! She said she just stood there and told him she would talk to him when he was done. LOL, I don't think I could have just stood there and been pelted by bottles.
5. I really wish I could have seen that.

I'm new in town
So I have a question for all of the moms that have already tread the waters I am wetting my toes in. How much should we expect to pay for a crib? It seems like most cribs I find are between 150 to 200. I really want to get a convertible crib (1.Crib, 2. Toddler bed, 3. Full ), but I am not sure if that is a good idea either (they are like 250-400). So I need some major mom advice here.

Dillon One, Whoot Won
So I have some good news and some bad news.
The good news is our baby (singular) is doing well. We went to our prenatal appointment and got to see his little heart beating. It was a really neat moment. I think actually seeing this little "creature" for the first time has really made me realize I have a baby to take care of. I seemed like almost immediately I wanted to care for this little spot and make sure nothing interferes with his health. After our appointment Caleb and I went "baby shopping". This was a big dose of reality. Baby stuff is expensive. The mattress for the crib was like $150 and the bed we want to get is like $300ish (prob wont get that after all). So I am going to start hitting up Craig's list like a crazy deal obsessed lady.
Now for the bad news. My poor little Joey is no more. This morning Caleb took him to the animal hospital to have him put to sleep. I don't know what it is with Caleb and giving my animals the boot. First it was squeakers (who I did not name), now Joey. Although, Joey's eternal sleep was a long time coming. Last night he fell in the pool for like the fifth time. Thankfully I woke up (at 2am) and heard him barking. Caleb pulled him out and then we decided it was time. So now we are stuck with the question of : Should we get another dog to keep whoot company? and if so do we really want to mess with a puppy again?

whacked
Today a coworker brought in a lovely bean dip to share with the staff. It was really good although I did not eat too much of it. When I got home I took my, now, daily nap. I woke up wanting bean dip and tortilla chips. I sent Caleb a text just to see how his day was and I told him that I was really craving this dip. He, being the sweet husband he is, told me he would bring some home. So all evening I did not eat anything because I wanted to make sure I could eat the dip guilt free. When my husband came home he did bring the dip, but not the one I wanted. I wanted that layered dip with cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. He brought some Frito's brand in a can. I tried my best to be grateful and I even ate some, but the whacked part is when he left the room I started to cry. LOL I was crying because I wanted a certain kind of bean dip and he couldn't find it in the store. Is that weird or what? Seriously there were tears flowing from my eyes LOL. I even looked at him and said, "I am crying over bean dip." To this he calmly replied, " I know, your whacked."

Wow.
So since the baby news I really haven't had time to blog. Mainly because I have been sleeping A LOT. The rare times I am not asleep, Caleb and I have someplace to go or something to do. This past weekend we were in Bakersfield for a Bible quiz tournament. We have a few first time quizzers this year. It will be interesting to see how far our teams can go this season.
Beyond all that not much has been going on. Nothing that I can remember anyway. I have my first prenatal appointment next Friday. Friday the 13th, ooohhh scary. I am sure by then we will be able to let everyone know if we are having one, two, or three children. My vote is still for two and Caleb's is still for three. As for the question everyone is asking, we (Caleb and I) want a boy. Everyone else in the entire world thinks it would be funny for us to have a girl because they know she would have Caleb wrapped around her tiny finger. Maybe it is for this reason we are really hoping for a boy.
