my in laws!!! Just kidding. Well they are coming over this weekend, but the reason they are coming is what's blog worthy. (Not that their very presence in my home is not blog worthy) So anyway! this weekend I am putting an end to all this "guessing what the baby is" nonsense. I have scheduled a 3D/4D ultrasound for this Saturday and we are not leaving until the tech tells me we are having a boy. (According to most we will never leave if that is the case) I'm kidding, I will leave if they tell me it is a girl. I just want to know. Now.
Up until now I have been very level headed with the baby and accessorizing it, decorating the room and so forth. In fact, the only thing we have bought for the baby are a few books and a crib. But I feel babymania coming on, and I warned Caleb that if we find out we are having a girl it's on, no holds bar, forget trying to buy a house my daughter needs clothes and lots of them. I'm talking feathered headbands, puffy dresses, fancy shoes that newborns don't even need and zebra print, lots of zebra print! LOL. ok, maybe not the zebra print, but definitely some funky headbands. So if I file for bankruptcy between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning everyone will know why.

Homeschooler?
http://spunkyhomeschool.blogspot.com/
I just found this blog written by a Mother who is homeschooling her six children. Her posts are different. Usually about current events. While I don't agree with everything she has ever posted, the site does cause you to think a little and thinking is never a bad thing.

So I'm actually starting to look pregnant (whatever that means). It is so cute. I just can't get over this little belly (It's actually kinda big, but I know some of it is ice cream (too much info I know)). Everything I wear is starting to fit me different now. It is kinda a challenge to get used to maternity clothes. Especially with this heat wave we are having right now.

Maybe I really am a Dillon

We dont know what we are having, but if it is a boy wouldn't this be a cute cake topper for the baby shower cake! I would change the football to a basketball though. Awww. Caleb said if it is a girl we could make it so the baby is sitting on a pair of shoes. :)
I would prefer this FABULOUS cake for my girl though.
Caleb's Stuff
Caleb has a suprising amount of pictures on his phone. Recently he finally downloaded them to his external hard drive. Being the precious wife that I am, I went through all his pics.
So Random.
Madame Butterfly. Summer 08.
P.S. I just felt the baby move! I think it is kicking (or punching). Whatever it was it was totally weird. :)

Blog Photo
This is so funny. The picture shown above is from our quick trip to Fresno. We got to "take in" their Easter play Sunday afternoon. It was the last time they were doing the play so when it was all done the director wanted to take various cast photos. My father according to the law was a priest or something in the play. After taking about five pictures he thought he was done and had taken off his costume. Little did he know that there was one more picture to take. Dreading the thought of wearing all that "stuff" again, he secretly volunteered me to take his spot. ( perfect match, I know) So as the cast was posing and waiting for Jim Dillon to hurry up and get in place, I quickly threw on whatever I could and ran up to the stage and stood next to Uncle Rick. The funny part is no one noticed I was up there. It was so funny! They were just all posing and the director said she knew something was not right about the picture but couldn't tell what. So anyway, I have posting this picture and I hope that you get a laugh out of it.
News n' stuff
Reminder: This blog was created to keep our Fresno, Arizona, and Kentucky (and those that live in places other than Rialto) family informed on the ins and outs of our life. That's why this post is kinda necessary.
A couple of days ago (as some may know) Caleb and I had quite a scare concerning the baby. I called Caleb, he came home from work and took me to the hospital. Of course we called our parents and some people from the church to help us pray. We were stuck in the E.R. for about six hours. A lot of it was wait and see kind of stuff. They would run a test and then we would have to wait for the results. All the while Caleb and I were very worried. Finally the dr. brought in a portable ultrasound machine and we got to see our little baby, hyper as can be and kicking all over the place. I don't think I could ever explain the amount of relief we felt at that moment. After all was said and done, I was released and told to take it easy until I can get into see my regular Doctor. The important part of this post is: The baby is fine and so is the Mother. Thank you all for your prayers, it felt so good to know we have a support group to lean on when we need it.
Now that that has been said, let me tell you that my child likes to play hide and seek. I had a regular appointment on Monday and the Dr. tried to determine the gender but of course my stubborn child would not cooperate. Then, when we had to go to the hospital, I asked the ultrasound tech to try and find out. She tried, but couldn't tell. I honestly don't care what we have, but if we have a girl, she already has seven pairs of shoes and at least ten dresses. As for the boy, he only has two packs of oneies. LOL, my family is hoping for a girl.I also have a picture from my ultrasound of the baby's face (at least that is what the Dr. told us it is) I will have to scan it soon. Right now it is in my wallet and my wallet is in my car and it is cold outside so I am not going to go and get it.

Before I forget.
We are entering a very busy weekend and so I dont want to for get to let you know that I have a Dr. appointment on Monday after work. Hopefully this time I will remember to get a printed out picture of the baby to share.
I have been asking for an ultrasound on all of my appointments just because I wonder how the baby is. I am sure at some point I will begin to feel the baby move and "flutter", but that hasn't happened yet. So until it does I will continue to bug my Dr. for pictures. :)
How far along were you when you first felt your baby move?

Another story from yesterday:

Caleb said I should share.
So today was a doozie( duezzie do-zy, dosie doe) of a day. We have a new little boy who is so stinking stubborn you would not believe it. Like, think of the most stubborn person you know and times them by a million trillion billion times and maybe you would get close to understanding Johnny.
This afternoon I had to deal with him and boy did I make a BIG mistake. (back up: my coworkers think I am too soft and so I was trying my best to be authoritative) Johnny was laying on the floor next to his chair at circle time. All of the other children were sitting nicely singing songs or whatever. Christine and I went over to Johnny and I told him to get up (he is way to heavy for pregnant women to pick up) or I was going to throw his shoes in the trash. (back up: I am just going to write the dialogue of the conversation)
Sarrah : Get up or I am going to throw your shoes in the trash
Johnny: Do it throw them in the trash, take them, do it do it, I don't care, take them...etc.
Sarrah: (Now has shoes and trying to shock Johnny) Fine, now how about your pants, do you want me to throw your pants away to?
Johnny: Yeah, take my pants I dont care, take them.
Looking up to heaven for help, Sarrah now realizes nothing is going to work, but from the corner of her eye sees that Johnny has indeed gotten up off of the floor and has dropped his pants and is now shaking his chubby little body infront of the whole class.
Mrs. A : (Laughing) Fix that one Sarrah!
Oh My goodness! I was laughing so hard I could not do a thing, thankfully Christine was still level headed enough to get Johnny into the bathroom.
