Listen

Someone has got to take Whoot into their care. This dog is just not pound material. As much as he bugs me, he really is one of the best dogs I have ever had (and that says a lot, I think I have had 10 dogs in my lifetime). Caleb took him to the pound this morning, but they were closed. A pound closed on a Sat., coincidence? I think not. Then he let the dog out to run away. He runs straight to my mom's house. Caleb left him out on the loose for about an hour. I woke up, whistled for him and he ran home and sat in front of the screen door.
So that being said. We need some ideas on what to do with Whoot while we are living someplace that wont allow dogs. (My mom has a huge backyard, but she wont let us keep whoot there, seriously that doesn't make sense because she has like 8 rat dogs running around and whoot is at least house broken and doesn't mind living outside.) I am thinking of taking him to a no kill shelter, that way if he doesnt get adopted we can just get him back out when the time is right.

This makes me sad. I've thought about Sam in regards to moving out... I can't do the pound. I'd say the no-kill shelter for sure if you dont have other options...
