Yay for good deals!

Hooray for new stuff! I have been wanting to redo our only bathroom in a more kid friendly theme. After looking all over creation, I finally settled on this Paul Frank set from Target. We came across it a while ago, but have been waiting for it go on sale. Last night we ran over to Target on a whim and there it was, the whole set was 30% off. So with a little encouragement from Caleb (because I'm cheap) we picked up all of the accessories for this theme. I think my favorite detail so far is the round bath rug. We only bought one last night, but I am def going to go back and get two more. Love the idea of extending the spots from the curtain onto the floor.
Another great deal we found today is this Ikea bunk bed for the boys. I have been in love with this bed for a long time, and now with a new baby coming, bunk beds are the only way to go. I love this bed because it is  only 45" tall and has a canopy for the top bunk. I found the whole set on Craigslist today for $100. It retails for $230 with the canopy. So needless to say I am super excited about picking this up tonight.
I think Wyatt is going to totally love his new bed. Mostly because it will provide him some private space away from his brother. My poor boy can't even read a book without Zane running up to him ready to wrestle and now Zane can climb onto the couch so Wyatt has no place to hide.
Because I knew I really wanted this bed, we took Zane out of his crib last week and have been sleeping him on his mattress on the ground to see how he would do. So far he has done very well. He goes to sleep when we lay him down and thinks it is awesome that he doesn't have to wait for someone to get him when we wakes up. The first time he walked out of his room on his own he had the biggest smile on his face.
So, I have high hopes for this new sleeping situation. Wish me luck as my little boys continue to grow up too fast on me. :)

I love it!! Never seen a bed like that, I can see why they both will LOVE it & the bathroom. Will the rugs be different color spots? Great job, happy for you --- Love you, Nana G

Nana, we will have three different colored rugs. Probably turquoise, lime green and orange.

Where did you get the top to that Ikea bed? I have the same bed for my son but I didn't see a canopy like that.

Ikea sells the canopy. If it is not in store, it is for sure still on sale online. I think it costs about $30.
