Just a little note. I have re-added some links to my blog roll. That's it. Bye.
So I have been saying that I wanted to do the nursery in neutral colors and not really theme it at all. I am still holding on to the "no theme" theme, but I am slowly being drawn into creating a girly girl room or a really boyish room. I am trying my best to fight the urge, but with cute patterns like the hot pink and lime green set around I don't know if I will make it.

Either way it doesn't really matter in the long run of life. So what do you think about the turquoise and lime green set? It's the same print, but I have been thinking of using it as my "neutral" bedding.

12 weeks

I have been trying to post this video for several days now. My appointment was two weeks ago, but I think I may have finally got it. At my last dr.s visit I had Caleb use our camera to record a little bit of my ultrasound. Unfortunately, he did not zoom in so you really cant see that much. I suggest you just close your eyes listen to the dr. talk and pretend you were there. I mean really, no one understand what they are seeing on those tiny monitors anyway. (kidding, you should have seen that little tiny hand! so cute)

good weekend

So the inGroup potluck was great. We had about 50ish people (I guess this includes kids) show up. Which from what I hear is a really good turn out. We had a lot of fun too. I don't think I sae anyone sitting alone having conversation with the wall. Not even me, and those that really know me know that is a BIG accomplishment. (My family "jokes" that I have ADD)
Sunday morning I did not go to church because I messed up and did not eat at my normal breakfast time. (I have found a system that works, but I have to be right on schedule) Needless to say I ended up with some pretty bad morning sickness. Sunday night was wonderful. Bro. French is preaching a revival for us. He is such a unique preacher. There is just something about a person with great enthusiasm. Anyway, we have church tonight and tomorrow night.
Wednesdays before church Caleb has been teaching a Bible study to an adult group home. Since we do not have church this Wednesday, I am going to with with Caleb and make dinner for all the people there. How fun! I have been bugging Caleb to let me make them something, (cheese cake, cream puffs, cookies)but he just kept putting me off. Well when he did decide that he wanted to incorporate my culinary expertise he gave me a big job. With the help of a Sis Sanchez (Mom's mystery buddy) we are making Crispy tacos, beans, rice and salsa. Fun fun fun.
I am hoping to have pics of the potluck by the end of the week, but we shall see.
All this typing and the timestamp at the bottom must beg the question, Why am I not at work? Well there is a very entertaining story to answer this question, but I am not sure if I want everyone to know. For sure I must tell my father according to the law and show him a picture that will top Dr. Seuss.
Oh one last thing, because my family thinks I have ADD, I decided to name our daughter (if we have one) Aubry Denise Hannah Dillon. Get it? ADHD. lol I love it.

Olives and Cheese cake

That's not my craving, but it is one I read about. How gross.
The only true craving I have right now is Ice. I love ice, but I hate water. It's weird because before I got pregnant I liked my drinks to be room temp or just a little chilled. Now, at work I buy a bottled water and throw it in the freezer. For the rest of the morning I am constantly checking to see if my water has turned into slushy ice. Crushed ice is the best though. Yummy.
Here are some weird cravings that I found on the Internet. They are all related to non-food items and are speculated to be linked to anemia. (Which I have always had)
  • I have had a craving for GASOLINE, VICKS VAPOR RUB, GOLD BOND MEDICATED POWDER, and LYSOL in these last weeks of my 2nd pregnancy.
  • With both my pregnancies I craved cigarette butts. I am not a smoker nor was my husband. We rented out a room to my husband's close friend and he did smoke. One eve. the craving was sooo strong that I actually dug out a half used butt and lit up just to pacify the craving!
  • . I craved the smell of new cars, Hardware stores and the smell a vaccum puts off when its running. I would vaccum my floors 10 times a day, it was like a treat for me to vaccum.
  • I have a craving for cotton but not just any cotton the kind that comes in stuff animals. I rib it on my tongue and then on the back of my throat. My daughter has lost 2 stuff animals because of my craving. Sorry baby. (what a freak!)
  • ive been craving the scent of lemon soft scrub. it smells sooooo good i bought a lemon candle its just not the same. i clean my sink like twice a day and my bathroom 3 times a week
  • I desparately craved car exhaust. I would lay in bed willing myself not to go out to the garage and turn on the car and just smell it. I was obsessed. I never actually took it that far, but I'll admit to walking behind running cars when it wasn't totally necessary.
  • I have craved the scent of paint thinner, gasoline and permanent marker... It smells so delicious.

Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.
1. When you are sad --I will jump on the person who made you sad like a spider monkey jacked up on Mountain Dew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in.

4. When you're scared -- we will high tail it out of here.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining, ya big baby!!!!

6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.

7. When you are sick --Stay away from me until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I might laugh, then I'll pick you up and dust you off.

9. This is my oath...I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask -- because you are my FRIEND!

Riot on Campus...

A little one anyway. Last Friday I was alone in the classroom preparing some art activities for this week. I had both doors to the classroom open to allow the of the stench of the greasy hot dogs the kids had for lunch to escape. I was about ten minutes into my project when I heard a bunch of student yelling Boo! I looked out the window and saw a few kids kicking around some lunch boxes, while the crowd of voices crying out, "Boo, Boo!" continued. Curiosity got the best of me, so I left my project and looked out the door. I did not see a fight. I did see everyone of the sixth graders on campus yelling boo. After observing that there was no visible reason for the students to be yelling, I marked it off as them being weird and went back to work. Just as I sat down I heard one of the boys yell, " What do we want? Recess! When do we want it? Now!" LOL apparently the sixth graders had an assembly that took up their recess time. The problem was they did not know recess was cancelled. They had just finished lunch when the bell rang signaling them to line up. It was so funny. The noon duty aides were yelling at the kids on their megaphones, the teachers were screeching for them to line up, but the kids just kept right on shouting and rioting (only in America). After a while the Principal finally came out and got the situation under control . It was quite a sight to see and it made me feel good to know that our class is not the only one that gets way out of control.
