It will never happen BUT what do you think of this name....lol
Wyatt Zane
Wait.... I think I hear laughing already. Is Zane really that bad of a name? I just found it on some cowboy name website. I thought I liked it but now I kinda sounds silly.

7 weeks and 6 days. that's it. i can make it.
Bro. Morton preaches a message about "going through the process" in order to get to certain places in life. He says repeatedly, you got to go through the process. Well pregnancy is definitely a process. We prayed for a baby for three years without really thinking about the process in which a baby comes. Nine months is a very long time to wait for someone like me. I mean, I'll have all my mail opened and read before I reach the front door and don't even get me started on Birthday gifts. I want them as soon as it is 12am. With that said, I am so ready to hold my little guy and put a face to the child I have fallen in love with. I have told Caleb many times, If I can just make it passed our baby shower and guarantee there would be absolutely no complications I would love to have the baby early. Of course that would mean he would be 5-6 weeks early so I don't think that will happen. But one can always hope.

Thank God we are having a boy
Reverse Tickle
I was told a lot of things when I got pregnant.
Oh your going to be huge in the summer, you poor thing....Just wait till your feet swell.... That morning sickness is bad..... Use lots of pillows and you might sleep... I can't wait to see you waddle... Yeah, your gonna be huge... my son always stuck his foot in my ribs.
Most of this stuff I listened to and assumed... OK, yes some of it will happen to me, but not all of it. Well, as of this morning I think everything I was ever told would happen, has happened. Except the weirdo cravings, that's Caleb's thing. The list was completed this morning when the one thing I thought would never happen, happened. Wyatt found my rib cage, and he loves it. I'm not sure if he is grabbing my ribs and pulling or kicking his way out, but this morning he was at it for at least 30 mins. I tried switching sides a couple of times but he would just spin around (grazing my ribs) and start on the opposite side. Caleb even tried to lay his head on my side in order to create pressure on both sides of my belly. Wyatt just rebelled and continue to kick Caleb in the face LOL...he is really strong. I am just hoping he doesn't brake a rib...that would be bad. (or so my mom tells me)

Stuff
I'm thinking recession has hit the Sand Man, cause he has to be giving me some watered down stuff.
I have a new routine of sleeping every other day. Not sure why that is. I think I sleep on the off day because I am so tired from lack of sleep the day before. Last night was a night of no sleep, so here I sit in a zombie like state. I woke up at 2:30 and i'm not sure how long I was awake, but I know it was over an hour of wide eyed bushy tailed boredom. After that I do the "every two hour" thing. Like, I wake up every two hours.
Heartburn: I got it. LOL, I have never had heart burn in my life so I didn't even realize that I have been having small episodes for the last two weeks. It's not so bad. I only realized what it was last night because I woke up and my subconscious mind told me that my heart felt like it was burning. Then my brain put it all together and i kinda laughed at myself.
Doctors Notes: He walks in and says, "Let's see if this baby is still growing" I give Caleb a nervous glance. Thankfully the Dr. says Wyatt has slowed down on his apparent growth spurt and once again fits into the average size for a baby his age. What a relief. Although, he still has 9ish weeks to become a behemoth, I am hoping he will be kind to his mother and hold off until after he is born.
Caleb: is a mechanic!! This week alone he fixed the air conditioning on his car and he replace a power steering pulley on my car. Caleb has also begun working 12hour days for one of his job sites. He just started this week so I am still trying to find enough stuff to keep me occupied for the whole day (Yes, I have been cleaning the house). :) I tell him I am basically going to be a single mother during most of the work week. OHHHH but when the weekend comes.........

I miss you
O! coffee, where art thou
When I need thee now?
In thy many flavoured blends
A hot cup would be godsend.
I cannot keep awake
Without a short coffee-break.
With thy life-giving aroma
Save me from going into a coma.
Java, Colombian or French Roast
Thy every flavour, I will toast.
To the end thy loyal slave
Three cups a day I will always crave.

WHHHAAAA!!!! I want a Carmel lite frappuccino. Seven months clean, but the craving is still there.
We have come up with a substitution for my daily Starbucks runs. Caleb has become my in house barista . We bought some cappuccino mix from Costco (99.9% caffeine free) and have been fooling around with creating the perfect blend to cure my insatiable craving. It has kinda worked so far. The only problem is I have to wait until Caleb gets home to have one. I tried to make one this morning and 1)it just didn't taste as good 2) I made a huge mess all over the counter when I poured my "coffee" mixture from the blender to my cup. I just can't believe that after all this time the pull for coffee in general is so strong. I have already ordered Caleb to bring me a frapp as soon as I have the baby. I figure I'll feed little Wyatt and then drink my frapp. Surely by his next feeding all the caffeine will have left my body, right?

New Kids on the Block 2
Never ever ever ever ever ever ever complain to your Dad about what your new neighbors are doing. Why? because he will do something about it.
S0000.... I made the mistake of complaining to my dad about the neighbors blowing their trash onto our driveway. Now, I didn't go running to daddy, he was helping me bring my trash cans in while the neighbor was in the process of blowing stuff around. It was during this time that I voiced my complaint, to which my dad said " just leave them alone, I am sure he will sweep it after." Well, apparently after I went inside my house to cool off my dad had a little conversation with the new guy. From what I hear it all went well. My dad told the man 1)that I am his sweet wonderful precious little daughter and 2)that it's not cool to do stuff like that. Once the man figured out that he was surrounded by one crazy Mexican man and his (possibly crazy) daughter he made the right choice and cleaned up his trash. No harm no foul.
I guess when we officially do the "meet and greet", I'll just pretend like this all never happened.
I got to say, I love my dad. LOL, he really did talk to the guy in a very friendly manner. It's funny because I found all this out from my mom. she said my dad came into the house and told her I am just as bad if not worse than he is. And to that Caleb can say AMEN.

Nursery Bedding
New Kids on the Block
Call me old fashioned or just call me pregnant, but when did it ever become OK to blow your trash onto your neighbors driveway and leave it there. I can see clearing off your own driveway and then coming back and sweeping up the stuff you blew around, but come on. Are you really going to leave my driveway (as well as front yard) looking like that?
This is what I wanted to say to our new neighbors. But I didn't. I didn't even give them a dirty look. Because I am trying to be more christian like, and because I am just going to sweep it all up and put on their doorstep tomorrow. (I'm Kidding!!)
Really though, that is not the best way to come into an established neighborhood. I am hoping that they will feel bad about it and clean it up. If not, then I don't know, I guess I will just have to hope that it's a one time deal.
Soooo.... in case you haven't noticed we have new neighbors. The house in between ours and my mom and dad's is officially occupied as of this week. So far I have only seen a man (mid 30's) and two children (boy/girl 5 &6). I did not intro myself because today is the first time I have been out and about while they were outside, And because the above scenario was happening so I didn't want my first words to be, "are you going to clean that up?" LOL
I am sure we will get around to meeting and greeting eventually. Especially when Jayne sees them. She loves to interrogate people. As for now I am just going to stop being all overly emotional pregnant and sweep off our driveway.

Calebs going camping
Lets hope he has better sense than this guy.
BERLIN (Reuters) – A German who tried to fix his leaky air mattress blew up his apartment instead, the fire brigade in the western city of Duesseldorf said Wednesday.
The 45-year-old man used tire repair solvent to plug a hole in his airbed and left it overnight.
But it blew up when he went to inflate it the next day. "A spark from the electric air pump ignited it," a fire brigade spokesman said.
The blast pushed his living room wall into the building's stairwell and caused extensive damage to walls, windows and furniture.
Fire fighters evacuated the 12-apartment building and a neighboring housing block while they checked for structural damage.
The man suffered burns on his arms, while a three-year-old girl suffered first degree burns.

Sugar water
I made it through my glucose screening test. I have been so nervous about taking this test because I was sure it was going to make me really sick. I usually get sick if I have too much sugar or caffeine. I also will fall asleep if I have too much pasta, weird I know. Be all that as it may, I did the test, the drink was disgusting, I came home and slept for at least two - three hours. I will get the results on Monday when I go in for a Dr. appointment.

Who knew a person could cry so many times in one day, and all the while knowing there really is no reason to cry at all.
- I couldn't find my bathing suit
- I still couldn't find it
- I found it
- Caleb didn't put a bag in the trash can
- Caleb asked me why I was being cranky
- Thinking about how cranky I have been all day
I think that's it. :) just comes with the turf.

Sorry
Ok, so the Maternity Tea was kinda lame. The tea (dinner) itself wasn't bad, but the rules and regulations of our hospital are way overboard! Let me give you the run down.
- All visitors must check in at the front desk and have a picture ID. A few of them will then receive a tag that allows guests admittance to the 2nd floor (L&D)
- Pre-Labor: only 3 visitors at a time. In the mean time everyone else has to wait in the main lobby on the first floor.
- During Labor: only 2 people will be allowed to stay for the whole labor, and one of those people has to be the coach (Caleb).
- Post-Labor: Visiting hours will be in effect as soon as the mother is taken to her post labor recovery room. Hours are from 9am-9pm. That means not even Caleb will be allowed to stay if we have the baby at 2 in the morning.
- Right after Labor the mother and father are given at least one hour of bonding time with the baby (that's cool for us). Then the baby is taken to the nursery, and the mother is allowed 1 1/2 hours to recover before visitors are allowed upstairs. So that's 2 1/2 hours after the baby is born, before we can show him off.
- The good news (i guess) is that, if all is going well mothers are released within 24 hours or less. Also, the baby is kept in the mother's room during our entire stay. So if we have him during normal visiting hours he will always be around when people visit.
So we know that with as much family as Caleb and I both have this whole process is not going to go the way the thought it would. The good news is, if we have a normal delivery and are released in the first 24 hours, then we are just going to encourage most people to meet us at our home to see the baby. Basically it will be the baby's first birthday party.
I just thought of a plan! if I have the baby at 7 in the morning then by the time people are allowed to see him it will be a little after 9am. So then everyone will have the whole day to visit and by 7 the next day I will be going home. What a great plan!!

Being productive
In the last two and a half weeks I have worked a total of one day. I don't know what it is, but I have gotten into a bad habit of staying up late and getting up even later. Which doesn't allow me to pick up any sub jobs, because in order to do that I have to be up at five in the morning. So in the mean time I have filled my days with computer games, hanging out with Hailey, and other such nonsense. Basically, i have not done anything productive in a while. So today, I scanned some pics of my 3d ultrasound (from two months ago), I am cleaning the house, and possibly going to the grocery store to restock our poor refrigerator.
We are also supposed to go to our maternity tea tonight. I am really looking forward to going. I hope to take a few pics in order to share the experience with those that could not attend with us. And maybe, just maybe I will get over my camera shyness-essness, and let Caleb take a much needed shot of my ever growing belly.

What do you think?
In August I am thinking about hosting a Chocolate Tasting party for all of the ladies in the InGroup. Basically, I want to create an evening of relaxation and fun for all of the hard working women in our group. And of course Chocolate is always a wonderful treat. The tentative date is Friday night August 21st (I think) What do you think? I know some of our ladies read this blog from time to time so please give me your input. Thanks

I haven't a clue
I found some lists of baby necessities online. I combined a couple of lists and wrote down that stuff that I don't have, or that I don't have specifically for the baby. What do you think? is it too much or not enough? Seems like a whole lot of stuff. I have a lot of the big things already so I didn't write them down.

(as always, click on the pic to enlarge it)
oh I forgot to add humidifier to the list. AND what about a moses basket? I think I want one, but I am not too sure yet.

Ramble
So my maternity tea was cancelled and moved to next Wednesday.
I am going to take my glucose test next Friday.
After talking to my Mom, I have found out that several of my blood relatives have died of cancer or diabetes... so the glucose test is needed. My mom (Betty) actually knows/knew several of my biological family members so she was filling me in on my medical background today.
my pool (which looked like a pond last week) is almost clean. In the mean time I am dieing of heat exhaustion.
Caleb is going fishing with "the guys" in a couple of weeks. (lol, he said he is going to take the baby next year.)
ahhhhh, oh, haha. Caleb says he thinks my big tum is cute, and that he didn't mean anything he said in a bad way. He is just really excited. (I knew that, already)
I found some cute things for the baby's room, but i am going to wait and register for them.
yeah. so, that's all I can think of right now.
