Birthday Party Fun 

So, lets talk about HarvestFest again.

This year Caleb and I worked the Bible Study Booth. We switched it up big time this year. We held a coloring contest at our booth with the idea that while the kids were busy we could talk to the parents. We also asked some of the young people to wander the crowd with a Bible study surveys in an effort to contact more people. The outcome of everyone's hard work was AMAZING. We passed out at least 250 outreach packets made up of 1.CANDY 2.flyers for Bible studies, bus ministry & church information,  we secured 40 Bible Studies that night & gained 90 new follow up contacts for the Bus ministry!!!! Makes all the hard work totally worth it. 

Lord willing, next year we are definitely going to keep the coloring contest idea and make improvements from there. It was such an amazing feeling to count up all the surveys and realize in one night there were 40 solid contacts made. 

So yup. Very cool. 

In other weekend news. I just turned 31. In honor of my birthday I am going to participate in a 5k next week. Pretty excited about that. Thankfully this 5k is a fun run, so it is ok if you walk most if it lol.
